This is my first horse to draw and I absolutely love the realism in this piece. I wanted to draw it because of the mane and how dynamic it is with the flow and lighting. I knew I can make a spectacular piece out of this photo and so I jumped in head first and loved every second of it. It's befitting to title it, "Samson" because the mane is lush, voluminous and rich that it's fullness gives "Samson" a featured strength, this, of course, besides his musculature as well. I believe I captured the flow of the horse with the dynamism of how I rendered the hair with its fullness and lighting.
