THE YELLOW LEAVES (3)

YELLOW LEAVES (3) is an abstract artwork that resulted from the abstraction of my “leaves and branches” series. It was completed in October 2022 after years of working on several versions.

“LEAVES AND BRANCHES” are a series of compositions, made of natural elements like leaves and branches. During such studies, several composition variations have been produced, and in the process of simplification, the final artworks are abstracted further from the primary compositions.    

However, my perception of the "forms and colors", is fundamental to building up a structure with rhythm and tune”, perhaps it is due to my 50 years of experience in architecture and dealing with colors, forms, and volumes.

Why Yellow leaves?  Yellow and black contrast gives an energizing visual effect. It creates a positive vision of the world, paradoxically, in contrary to the actual world’s crisis. Perhaps, this vision is helpful for art lovers, in order to distance them from the rough situation of recent life.   

Technically, these artwork series are NEW MEDIA, (developed by myself). i. e. a treated background layer on the canvas, completed with the airbrush, and finishing by hand-embellished with resin. Dimensions are 39.37 width x 49.21 height inches (100×125cm) and could be enlarged up to 2 folds (by the client's order), which also could be delivered framed, ready to hang, at the buyer’s account.
