The Sunburst of Persephone

Love is here, right here. No where else is love. Here is love, in the way we twirl the world into meaning and magic. As we love, we see the cosmos in the puddle, the tinsel in raindrops, the ice cream in the clouds, wispy and free. The spark that runs through every part. Love is here, in our children, the ones we used to be, the ones we still are. As we love, we gaze into inner worlds, meaningful and blessed. Through these paintings I remember the future as love. Dancing in the rain, the smell of icing and candles as the flame glows to the words, I love you then, now and always. Here I am, through every part, the inseparable force between you and I.

I am interested in the healing qualities of meditation. In particular how meditation can facilitate love by enhancing gratitude and the space for creation. Here in these works, I am, witnessing something faintly spacial, as I let go of the accuracy I lean on for the external space around us. I look into another form of vision - a portal, or a mirror that loves us always. These marks are not clearly distinguished, from one colour to the next Images and words float through the atmospheres of these paintings, but only in essence. Each element mixed from one another. Gradients, negatives, and echoes of the ever growing now. Between sound and silence these marks take form. In the place before form beginnings, these paintings grow and breathe, another extension of love, like you and I.
