Girl in a Big Hat
A melancholy piece that can evoke a distant emotional state. I feel as if we are the mirror she is looking into. Does that hat belong to her dad? And possibly he's away at the time, as all of us fathers seems to be when we're needed. Or is it that we're only needed when we're away? That would make sense.
Developed a special new frame type for this, that contains a "gutter" all around the painting, and the painting is approx. the same height as the frame face, so as not to lose any part of the whole painting. The same technique was used in the Eva Angelica Marie painting.
