This Shit Ain’t Chess, it’s Checkers

This was a fun one. I started it while working on another two. Randomly did some sketches and wanted to actually try to create one and not entirely stick to the idea/sketch. With that came the checkered chest, the splatter over top with a few new techniques to apply it and a few other things. Very grateful how my process and skill sets are evolving. This piece was more an experimental one but it showed me I can try different things without being fearful and it still come out to a way I like or enjoy.
