Peach Daisy Bouquet

I’ve felt a desperate need to paint from life lately, and when I saw these gerbera daisies smiling at me at the grocery store, I knew I had to paint them. We had a lovely morning together, as glowers are the most patient and willing models. They spent many days in my studio, keeping me company. It was a joy to give them a life on canvas to last far beyond their natural lifespans.
