The ‘Power’ series explores the idea of electric power as a metaphor for political power.  Electric power runs most things associated with contemporary society and our lives are brought to a stand still when it’s denied.  Its presence is physically tangible, but mostly invisible.   We spend a lot of effort and money to harness, direct, and manipulate it, and sometimes we loose control of it with deadly consequences.  All of these aspects of electricity can be neatly and I believe compellingly tied to political power.
