As you may know, my art is about movement in my body and transcending paint while repeatedly skating over my canvas with my rollerblades. In this piece I have found a connection to the water and how it looks in the light that evolves out of layers of paint. Maybe it shows the view of looking into a river bed at sunrise or sunset, but it has a translucence that is articulated by the swirls that my wheels make on the canvas.
