Crows In Slow Motion
I would like to introduce my new painting, “Crows In Slow Motion”. A full color geometric abstract work created over July-Sept. to the inspiring sounds of Ambient music. I feel this piece is a bit reminiscent of my earlier style of work. The creative process felt comfortable and familiar for sure.
The title “Crows In Slow Motion” comes from observations of the birds in the neighborhood. Their social interactions with each other was loud yet quite lackadaisical and on the hottest days they stand still with their mouths open, panting, giving them the appearance of being in slow motion.

I can't help but try and read abstract and decode it. I see NY city apartment buildings with firescapes in the 60s while jazz plays. :)

I love to hear about what viewers see in the work, thank you. I’m right there with you too, I see an aerial view of a city. Maybe a crow looking down on the rooftops as he flies.
