In this painting, I paid homage to my mother who has been my protector all my life. My mother is truly a great person. She sacrificed her career to give me and my brother a chance to pursue the American Dream. I tried to capture her dignity, wisdom, and beauty in this painting, in which she is making a business call, with the Freedom Tower and the Hudson River in the backdrop.
