This piece started with pure expressionism. I went through an emotional week with ups and downs and wanted to get it out. So I did. There’s probably 8-10 layers underneath.

I was going to make it something more specific but I’ve been collaborating with a friend and it’s open my mind to different perspectives on what things should look like or how they should be approached. With that in my mind I went to work with a few ideas and still made it pure impulsion within those ideas.

I really am starting to love my work and the process. My favorite part of this is the right eye coming out like we’re at the gun range and the bullseye holder bringing it out to you. The eye is coming out. For what, I don’t know…
