Layers for days.

This piece is the longest I’ve ever worked on one… six months. I’m always so impatient and wanting instant results or gratification. So that I’m itself was a huge win for me.

This piece also speaks to the culmination of different techniques, different emotions, different perspectives of how I see the world and how I can see something differently but it still draw the same end result of how it hits or how it pulls me in and hopefully you in.

I’m finally starting to accept and for that matter, realize, that creativity is about the progression and evolution for sure but it’s teaching me how to be present from the process and grow from that within itself. I had minimal awareness to that in general up until I started painting last year. Gifts that continue to give.
