This was another piece I finished the first day getting my airbrush gun. This was completely off impulse and expressionism. I started by getting stuck then decided I would just paint four different colored blocks on the background.

Then I literally knocked over a new mixed media I wanted to try and starting applying it to the canvas in the shape of a part of the head, then the ears from which I sketched some new ideas for and went with, and so on.

I love how well everything flowed and absolutely love this piece. It’s again from the airbrush giving me courage, recent development and self growth on the mental barrier I became aware of and immediately got to work on… that I was able to have the courage to try new style, new methods, etc. I can’t tell you how many good ideas I get, I then sketch and journal, just for me to mentally push myself away from them 90% of the time.

So this weekend of creating was truly a gift from the perspective of everything on this piece, or most, is derived from a new approach, style, tool, etc.

Awareness + Humility = Everything
