Obstruction of Self
Grieving is a combination of many different emotions. Fear, anger, numbness, loss, anxiety, abandonment, guilt, sadness or resentment. A lot of times when we grieve we might feel really mad, and we don't know why. Frustrated just being alive perhaps is confusing and we want to blame something or someone for the feelings. We often overlook that we are grieving. We often miss the opportunity to allow ourselves to truly grieve, and process a loss. And this isn't necessarily our fault. As a society we are taught that it's negative to sit in our pain mainly because people want to fix you, not help you process. People take it personally in this way. And because of that taught behavior our ego plays the obstruction to our self.
