Oil-Panel-plein air

24x30cm (approx. 9.5“x12“)

Painted on location in Lahr/Reichenbach, a small city on the south-west border of the Black Forest, Germany. The mill, still working, was built in the 18th century.

Ingo’s current series captures the nature of Black Forest, Germany, where he creates many of his paintings on location. “There’s nothing better than the sound of nature when painting en plein air,” says Ingo. “It’s the seductive sounds of wind moving the grass, birdsongs and the whispers of nature’s spirit.”
