Find the door

This piece started something entirely different. There’s two other paintings underneath because I was super excited about an idea I skipped my preparation and setup and then my mind got defeated and I left it… then came back painted over it, tried again and so on.

Eventually when it dried I found an outline of a face and the rest is history.

With this I tried to go pure expressionism between whatever came out paired with “Blood on the leaves - Kanye West” on repeat for eight hours straight hahaha this was a fun one. Not entirely happy with how it came out because I cut corners on a few ideas within the main idea but I’m growing and so is my process so it should only get better with each piece.
