Every Sunday I hike, and last winter, I came on this twisted girder, far off in a snowy woods. What was it doing there amidst the silence, the land expectant of spring? How had it arrived and what awaited it? I don't know. All I could do was paint it.

This painting has me leaving, in large part, the brush, and using spray. A new medium for me! I'll show more. later.
