Running Peoria

This painting is very dear to me. It comes from a time when I needed a lot support from family and friends and I had taken up running as a way to calm my heart down. This was put together from pictures I took on a run one morning after staying at my friends house in Peoria, IL. The explosion of emotion and the torrential downpour accompanying it is my reaction to not only my personal despair but also just the state of the world at that time. It was such a messy time but still at the center of it all was hope. A small bit of love just dropped in to help reverberate in a time of uncertainty.
