Blood, Rubies and Strawberries.

My approach is to interpret the landscape through abstraction. This painting is from a series of works I made in 2013. At the time I was working with acrylic, alkyd and oil resin on canvas, built up in layers from a acrylic substrate to a final oil and damar resin finish - the surface is rich and textured.
