Saudade (Orange Room)

Saudade is another topic I frequently cover. Unrequited  is as close as English gets to this Portuguese word that embraces so much more than simply yearning for a love that will never be returned. A studio pose in a room I shared in Grenoble, France with my first grande amour nearly forty-five years ago. Still vibrant that time. The walls a lovely shade of orange, which large skylights above kept glowing from morning till long in the afternoon.
