The Koi is a recurring theme, there was a pond not far from our home in Hawaii many years ago. Our son and I would often walk there and look at the fish after school. Very fond of surface tension, and up-cycling recyclable materials. In this case paper towel roll doweling sculpts well with impasto on the canvas.
