I Am More A Crowd Than A Family

This painting is a self portrait.  Obviously, not a self portrait in the traditional sense of a physical form on canvas.  Instead, it’s a self portrait of the mind.  My mind.

The composition is structured, compartmentalized.  Each section has its own colors, design and story separated by borders.  Are the borders to maintain order?  What would happen if the borders were broken and all the stories mingled together?

This ones for all of us who want to fly but are reluctant to leave our comfort zone.

This ones for all of us who can feel the energy but are hesitant to let it loose.
