Trousse á Maquillage

This piece is made of a bunch of old and broken brushes, used during my studio practice. Working with discarded materials, I come to reflect quite a bit on the concept of things' lifespan and waste. My only desire is to recover them and celebrate their unlimited possibility of existence into new forms, and the essential value of any identity. Brushes always help the artist to "make up" the surface of the canvas, but in this piece, they become the protagonists and not just the tools.
