I love working with amateur models because their modes of expression are vastly different from those of professional or polished models. The pros work hard to be what they think I want them to be. Amateurs can only be themselves. My goal is usually to capture the face in between the face they use when they are alone and the face they show to the world.

Luchi is one of my favorite models. Her life is so unconventional you never know what you are going to get. She led this shoot herself. She chose the costume and props that she thought encapsulated her life. She particularly loves posing with money.
