In the summer of 2017, just the third year of my painting adventure (that I'm still in the midst of) I was invited to exhibit my paintings at the Schedel Arboretum and Gardens in Toledo, OH. The conversation went something like this...

"Sure. So how many of them would you like?

As you many as you'd like to put up. How many can you bring?

Uh...well, over 20.

Oh, ok, then you shouldn't have any problem with filling up our space.

Right...so how do I coordinate with the other artists? I mean where to hang them...is it first come first served?

Ah, no...you're it. You got the place to yourself.

(Insert aghast silence here for about 5 seconds)."

So what he was telling me was that free of charge, I would have a gallery to myself for the entire summer, inside a facility that would host around...14,000 people over the season for events. And I can post my prices and if I make a sale, they would like only a 10% donation, and I could bring more art. Needless to say, I brought my art, about 16 pieces total. What a beautiful place to put them on display.

So these are the pictures from that fantastic opportunity. Thank you again, Schedel Gardens and Arboretum. Here is their website: https://www.schedel-gardens.org/
