Mano de Caballero (Gentleman's Hand)

I developed six sketches based on this poem written by Master Afro Cuban percussionist, Roman Diaz. He was inspired by one of my paintings, Destiny I to write this poem and I was inspired by this poem to create another painting.

Lobo tú, Lobo sí!

Pensó lo que pensó,

Rematado el juicio,

Coronado el brazo.

Lobo tú, lobo sí!

Saludo y cortesía!

Nombrando,

Lo que antes era,

Dos gardenias para ti.

Rematado el juicio,

Quien a la razón se hace.

Quien había sido antes,

Merecedora del merecimiento?

Lobo tú, lobo sí!

Una mano lava la otra,

Y las dos lavan la cara.

Wolf you, Wolf yes!

He thought what he thought,

After the trial,

Crowned the arm.

Wolf you, wolf yes!

Greetings and courtesy!

Naming

What used to be,

Two gardenias for you.

After the trial,

Who to reason is made.

Who had been before,

Deserving of merit?

Wolf you, wolf yes!

One hand washes the other,

And the two of them wash your face.
