I used trash that could have ended up in a bird's stomach and made something beautiful instead. Tell me, do you think two milk cartoons can be in love?

M. Mystery Artist’s Love nest of two milk cartons is a painterly sculpture that imbues meaning to otherwise worthless found objects. Our day-to-day existence is rife with and often defined by an excessive dispersal of waste. Refuse is tied to everything we do. Despite our attempts to nullify and reduce its adverse effects, it continues to plague and follow all our consumption (both necessary and otherwise). While I would never wish to or want a world where artists feel constrained about the materials they choose to create their work, I think it admirable when an artist uses what would otherwise become another toxic addition to landfills. M. Mystery Artist performs a type of alchemy with Love nest of two milk cartons: she turns garbage into valuable commodities, ugly discarded things into beautiful and useful artworks, and she gives value to the most valueless objects. This is a tremendous and altruistic utilization of the creative spirit and one that should be emulated and applauded.
