Once Upon A Time In The Giant's Causeway
The Giant's Causeway in Northern Ireland is gorgeous. I got the opportunity to visit there a few years ago (as well as attending The Open and later taking a ferry to Scotland where we played St. Andrews!) I took lots of photos while there. This painting was created from one of those photos as I stood at the very spot where this painting's scene takes place. While visiting a museum in Glasgow, I ran across an image of a peasant girl. I decided to put her into the painting, standing atop a boulder. The reason? I think the view I saw has pretty much been unchanged for hundreds of years. It is timeless and so is this painting, thus the name.
