Occultation

I began my abstract paintings representing two dimensional spaces. Over time, I began to incorporate a third dimension. Orbs became a central theme for years. Occultation underscored this approach by having some orbs obscured by the visual presence of others. The narrative in these paintings was strictly limited to representation of depth, along with choices of color, the application of paint, the composition, in other words, the aesthetics of abstraction.
