Nostalgia
Growing up I would always watch a variety of shows but one I clung to early on was Charlie Brown. As I got older I start to understood his character and his traits and related to them. Another show I would always watch after school was MTV with TRL, Carson Daily, Cribs, Pimp My Ride. With all of the saddening things going on in the world today, I felt it was a good time to pop this one out. Been seeing it in my mind for 3-4 weeks now I just couldn’t get the courage to try it. Last night I found that courage and it means a hell of a lot to me that I could create exactly what I saw in my mind. The other piece to this puzzle is the “Playbill”. I had went to see Wicked recently and forgot how much I enjoyed theater. Flying back from a work trip over the weekend I watched a Documentary on Theater and the history of it. For some reason “Playbill” stuck out to me and I felt it was fitting given its definition; “a poster announcing a theatrical performance.” For me… this is a theatrical performance of my childhood/teens.
