Prior to the post Italian series and pror to my exploration of figurative art. Maranasati is part of my continuing effort to access an aesthetic that we all share at a pre-language level and an attempt to evoke the idea that if truth exists, it is elusive. Maranasati is the Buddhist meditation on remembering mortality.
