Passing Storm

This painting was inspired by the many clouds and storms we have had this season at the coast where I live. I live in a piling house with a rooftop deck which affords magnificent views of the sky with the ocean in the distance.

It was painted using acrylic paint with brushes followed by highlights made with a pallet knife. It is finished with a satin varnish. It is painted on a gallery-wrapped canvas; the edges are painted so that, although a frame can be added, it is not required.

This is a one of a kind artwork. I always sign my work on the back and usually on the front as well.
