About The Artwork

In creating this painting Huppman is participating in a process of transformation. By layering, glazing and painting intuitively she transforms the picture plane into a composition she hopes will strike an emotional chord or frequency. Huppman aims to create work that she hopes will be contemplative and evoke in the viewer a sense of calm positivity.

This painting is acrylic on canvas mounted on an integrated foam panel. This innovative stretcher was designed and built by Infrastructure Canvas and provides a rigid surface for my technique while allowing the final canvas to be much lighter.
