Lady of the Lake

A woman in a red dress is seemingly walking on water, out in the middle of a lake with the shore line far off in the distance. Ten white birds fly around her in a circle while she has one arm raised to the cloudy sky which is reflecting off of the water. This painting was both fun and a challenge to create. The story appeal of this one where the woman is walking on water while birds fly around her in a circle brings up magical or mystical thoughts. But I'll leave those to the viewer to conjure up. Enjoy!
